Welcome! Finally the whole story of our new life...Part 1

For those that don't know we have made it to New York!
We sort of figured everyone knew by now, but here we are in February enjoying a day at the skating rink.  Yes, it was cold enough to be wearing our parkas.  It is nice to be back!

So this is my new blog, I miss the wide variety of friends we had in the Air Force and figured a good way to keep up to date would be a little insight into our new life "on the outside."  Shoot maybe some of you will join us out here, it is scary but we are pretty happy with our new and exciting life.  The next few posts will be some updates on our life.  I can't believe all the changes that can happen in a short time, it will be nice to sit down and document them so I can remember what we've been up to lately!

I'll give you the abridged version, I'm surprised I haven't had a heart attack yet!

Since the first week of January we have, packed up our house, said good-bye to the T-6, travelled cross-country with 3 kids, 2 cars, a trailer and our liquor cabinet, visited Kentucky, moved into an apartment, ZZ started a new school, visited New Hampshire, Mom job hunted, Dad got accepted to his PhD program, multiple visits to "the Burgh," welcomed a new niece, Mom started her new job, Dad started at the National Guard Unit, Dad started research at SUNY Albany, bought a new house, painted the new house, packed up the apartment, Daddy Day-Care Summer Camp started, started a garden, moved into the new house, travelled to "the Burgh" a few more times, fixed a few "issues" with the house, visited Kentucky and camped for the first time, visited Fort Drum and joined an aero club.

However will I explain all this?  I guess one post at a time.  Stay tuned, next I'll explain how Dad got us into this mess!!
